Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital signed a MOU with Hallym University and Chunchon Chamber of Commerce and Industry on March 17 to nurture regional intelligent innovation talents.

Through this agreement, Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital, Hallym University, and Chunchon Chamber of Commerce and Industry establish mutual strategic relationships. It plans to provide a clinical environment, joint industry-university research in the region's flagship industries using university capabilities, and support for master's and doctoral degree course retraining to strengthen the capabilities of incumbents.

Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital provides a clinical environment for digital medical convergence industry education and provides data and clinical research environment related to digital bio convergence industry. It plans to play the role of a regional base of intelligent research center that supports project development and research based on local industry demand.

The Chunchon Chamber of Commerce and Industry establishes and operates a system for recruiting and supporting talent in connection with local governments and local companies. It also plans to cooperate in establishing a support system for intelligent innovation activities of incumbents. Local governments and companies will operate local talent fostering councils to share cases, provide mentoring, Make A Thon, employment information, and promote job fairs.

Director Jae Jun Lee of Chuncheon Hospital said, “Our hospital is honored to have the opportunity to nurture intelligent innovation talents in Gangwon-do.” He also added, “We will lead the development of human resources in Gangwon-do by providing the most appropriate and the best clinical and research environment.”
