Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital, together with the Korean Association of Medical Social Workers, is launching “301 Network” program, which aims to improve health condition through eliminating medical blind spots.

The program integrates health care, medicine, and welfare services in order to resolve medical difficulties that vulnerable groups are suffering from. The target groups include basic livelihood security recipients, near-poor population, senior citizens who live alone, single-parent families, and the people with disability. The hospital will provide the selected recipients with medical fee that covers hospitalization, medical examination, nursing care, and patient transport services.

Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital will attract patients in need of medical support, and provide them with cost-free health care services. The hospital will continue to take care of patients after treatment by connecting the patients with regional public offices.

”The ‘301 Network’ program is in line with the government’s ‘Community Care’ program,” said Director Jae Jun Lee of Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital. “Our hospital will provide a good model for private hospitals to play a role of public healthcare institutions,” he added.
