Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital held 'Wish Tree' event in the Medical Intensive Care Unit from May 7 to 8, 2018, to celebrate Parents' Day.

The event was prepared for patients' family members to extend their wishes for their parents' recovery as well as to express their gratitude during a brief visit to the ICU.

A wish tree was placed around the corner of a wall in an ICU so that patients' family can write a letter and hang it up on the tree with the help from the ICU nurses.

The nurses also prepared carnations so as to help the visitors put them on their parents' chest. They also provided the visitors with hot tea and prayed for the patients' quick recovery.

Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital hosts several events every year to celebrate Family Month, which is May in Korea. The hospital has been holding carnation event on Parents' Day, and quiz event with face painting activity for child patients on Children's Day.
