Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital held an open lecture on “Healthy pregnancy and delivery” for marriage migrant women on June 22 at Michael Hall.

The lecture was prepared to provide the marriage migrant women with knowledge on pregnancy and delivery as well as the support for delivery and raising newborn babies. Among the 50 participants, women in 3 months of pregnancy and delivery as well as the ones preparing for the delivery were included.

The lecture covered the physical change in each stage of pregnancy, the role of newborn nursery, newborn baby care, and breathing techniques for labour. Health checkup during the period of pregnancy as well as the nutrition management for mothers were also discussed.
