Hallym holds seminar to celebrate 200th successful robotic surgery

Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital held ‘Robot Surgery Seminar’ on January 29, 2016, celebrating the success of 200th robotic surgery by da Vinci Xi. It took only 10 months to win this accomplishment since da Vinci Xi was first introduced, and it is the earliest result among all 55 robotic surgical systems in Korea.


The seminar went on with the following order: (i) ‘Robotic Surgery in Urology and Development Plan’ by Dr. Woo Jin Bang, (ii) ‘Robotic Surgery & Obstetrics and Gynecology’ by Dr. Chae Chun Rhim, (iii) ‘The Features of Robotic Surgery in General Surgery & Development Plan’ and (iv) ‘da Vinci Robotic Surgery at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital & Current Status in Korea’, both by Dr. Sang Woo Lim. Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital will continue its plan to minimize the patient anxiety while maximizing the treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction on the other hand.


At the seminar, Dr. Woo Jin Bang of Urology lectured on ‘Robotic Surgery in Urology and Development Plan’, Dr. Chae Chun Rhim of Obstetrics and Gynecology presented ‘‘Robotic Surgery in Obstetrics and Gynecology’ and Dr. Sang Woo Lim talked about ‘The Features and Development Plan of Robotic Surgery in General Surgery’ and ‘Robotic Surgery at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital & Current Status in Korea.’ Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital will continue its plan to minimize the patient anxiety while maximizing the treatment outcomes and patient satisfaction on the other hand.
