Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

President Choongsoo Kim, the former governor of the Bank of Korea has been named as the president of Hallym University as of March 2, 2016. The new president was born in Seoul, received his B.A. in economics at Seoul National University and received his Ph.D. at University of Pennsylvania in the United States.

Prior to his appointment to the president, he served as senior presidential secretary for economic affairs, the country's ambassador to the Organization of Economic Cooperation and Development, and the president of the Korea Development Institute.

In his inauguration ceremony held at Hallym University, he said that he aims to come up with practical ways with Hallym members and bring about change to lead Hallym as one of the most prestigious university in Korea.
