Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Dr. Soo Joong Choi, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at Hallym Sacred Heart Hospital participated in ‘The 3rd meeting of APFSRM 2016 (Asian Pacific Federation of Societies for Reconstructive Microsurgery)’ held in Beijing, China as a guest speaker. Dr. Choi lectured on ‘Flap and functional restoration of the limbs’ on June 3, which was about recovering the function of the damaged hands and legs through microsurgery with the combination of flap and orthopedic surgery.

Dr. Choi is a world renowned expert in microsurgery and he serves as the President of the Korean Society for Microsurgery. He joined the meeting as a representative of Korea. Throughout the meeting, he discussed current issues in reconstructive microsurgery with scholars and researcher from Asia Pacific countries.
