Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Dr. Chan Hum Park, Professor of Otorhinolaryngology / Head & Neck Surgery at Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital won the ‘Pharmicell Award’ by the Korean Tissue Engineering and Regeneration Society (KTERMS).

The Pharmicell Award has been jointly established by the KTERMS and the Pharmicell, the company that develops stem cell therapy. It is annually awarded to a scholar who published a high quality research paper that can be commercialized in the market.

In his paper themed “Silk fibroin based hydrogel for regeneration of burn induced wound,” Dr. Park has revealed the possibility of commercialization of silk fibroin based Hydrogel(SFH) in burn care by analyzing its safety and effectiveness.
