Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

The 9th annual meeting of the Korean Society for Computer-Assisted Orthopedic Surgery (CAOS-Korea) was held at the auditorium in Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital on Sept. 19, 2014.

This year’s academic meeting programs were comprised of computer-related basic and clinical researches in orthopedic surgery which include navigation, robotic surgery, bioengineering and technology innovation. Lectures by invited notable speakers from U.S., England, Germany, Japan and India were given.

“The conference was significant in that it contributed to the advancement of various basic and clinical researches in orthopedic surgery. It served as a great opportunity to facilitate international exchanges and provide a learning opportunity.” said Dr. Jun-Dong Chang, director of arthroplasty center at Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital, who is also chairman of the Korea Society for Computer Orthopedic Surgery.”
