No.4210 Date2014-08-06 Hit 26810

Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital members reviewed nine Chinese meals specially designed for Chinese patients at the hospital’s cafeteria on August 6.

The move is to lure more Chinese patients to the hospital which is located in an area heavily populated with Chinese population.

Dr. Yul Lee, Director of the hospital, Chief Administrative Officer Sung Dae Yoon, Ms. Eun Ju Lim, Director of Nursing Department and other key officials tasted sample menus and shared opinions.

Among the nine menus include Kung Pao chicken (spicy stir-fry dish made with chicken, peanuts, vegetables, and chili peppers), Yu Xiang Qie Zi (eggplant with garlic sauce), Ma Yi Shang Shu (bean thread with minced pork and mix vegetable) and Mapo tofu (stir-fried tofu in hot sauce).

Nine Chinese meals are developed by the hospital’s nutritionists. All meals are cooked low sodium recipe without MSG for the health of Chinese patients. These newly developed Chinese menus will be provided to Chinese in-patients starting this month.
