Kangnam gives free medical care at a Korean-Chinese sports day

Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital provided voluntary medical services at the 5th Hanmaeum sports day which was organized by the China-Korea Hanmaeum Association and held at Guro Middle School on May 15, 2013.


A team of three doctors, two nurses, one physical therapist and four administrative workers from Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital was on standby during the sports day. The team checked blood sugar and blood pressure for sports day participants and treated injured people, giving free health consultations for visitors.


The China-Korea Hanmaeum Association is a non-profit organization representing 570,000 Korean Chinese residents based in Korea. It has signed a medical services agreement with Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital on April 25, 2013.
