Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital treated the largest number of international patients in Gangwon-do in 2011.

According to the Gangwon-do Medical Tourism Support Center, the number of international patients in Gangwon-do has almost doubled to 1,031 in 2011 from 567 in 2010. Patients from Mongolia marked the highest rate among overseas travelers on the strength of surging popularity of the Chuncheon’s advanced medical technologies and services.

Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital attracted 335 international patients last year which was the largest number of foreign patients among the medical institutions in Gangwon-do.

Meanwhile, Hallym University Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital operates the International Healthcare Center, and provides specialized medical service for patients from abroad.
