No.3162 Date2011-12-16 Hit 28753

Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital and Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital ranked among the nation’s best in the Hospital Evaluation 2011, according to the JoongAng Ilbo, one of major dailies in Korea.

The result was based on the evaluation report of the Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service(HIRA) on 22 medical fields including an acute myocardial infarction, a coronary artery bypass surgery, antibiotics and cesarean delivery.

The HIRA evaluated 100 medical institutions which operate more than 350 patient-beds in Korea and the upper 30 percent hospitals earned high marks. Among 44 tertiary general hospitals evaluated, only 13 facilities have been eligible to rank among the best group.
