KHIDI Judges Hangang’s 7 Medical Techniques Superior

Seven medical techniques of Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital were designated as a part of ‘The Superior Medical Techniques in Korea’ by the Korea Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI). The institute selected the techniques, believing they would attract more foreign patients in the future.


The seven techniques are as follows:


1. Skin Graft for Severe Burn Patients Using Various Skin Substitutes (Burn Surgery)
2. Skin Graft for Severe Burn Patients Using Cultured Cells (Burn Surgery)
3. Burn Scar Cosmetic Surgery (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery)
4. Burn Reconstructive Surgery (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery)
5. Skin Graft (Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery)
6. Diagnostic & Therapeutic Procedures in Endoscopy (Gastroenterology & Hepatology)
7. Navigation-assisted Implantation in Arthroplasty (Arthroplasty Center)

The ‘Superior Medical Techniques’ were screened by eleven specialists from different medical societies who did a comprehensive assessment on the success rate of treatment and the number of foreign patients treated.
