“Hallym Goes Global” Published

Hallym University Medical Center(HUMC) published the March 2011 issue of “Hallym Goes Global: Yesterday & Today” which highlights Hallym’s global efforts in the past and present. The new publication will be updated every year.
It consists of five parts: exchange programs with world prominent institutions in the U.S., Sweden, Finland, Italy, Japan, China, Vietnam and Cambodia; ODA(Official Development Assistance) projects with Iraq, Vietnam, Paraguay, Kenya, Laos and Afghanistan; cooperation with the U.N.; hospital management in Guam; and overseas medical services in Fiji, Sri Lanka, the Philippines, Vietnam and Cambodia.
Dr. Hae-Ran Lee, HUMC President, said in the preface, “Hallym Goes Global aims at familiarizing you with past and current international activities of HUMC. Based on what we have achieved so far, Hallym will keep broadening its global horizons with the best medical institutions. By incorporating dynamic ideas, competent human resources and cutting-edge medical skills, Hallym will work to reinvent itself as an advanced and efficient medical institution that will surely deserve the trust and love of patients at home and abroad.”
