Dr. Keun-young Lee, director of Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, plans to lecture at 'The 22nd European Congress of Perinatal Medicine' in Granada, Spain, on May 26, 2010.

During the three-day congress on the perinatal safety and outcome between technologies and clinical practice, Dr. Lee will give a 20-minute lecture on the 'Rescue Cerclage' on the first day.

Known as a world-class authority in high-risk mother and a preterm birth, he was invited to international academic conferences including the Asian-Pacific Congress of Perinatal Medicine in Hong Kong, and the international congress of gynecology in Vietnam. In addition, he will also be speaking on the 'Cervical Incompetence' at the Japanese Congress of Perinatal Medicine on August 28. Dr. Lee has developed a surgical procedure for the cervical incompetence, 'rescue cerclage after amnioreduction,' and his paper on the new procedure appeared on the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
