Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Dr. Kyo-Sang Yoo, associate professor of gastroenterology and hepatology at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital (HUSHH), will be listed on two world- famous biographical directories. He has been nominated as one of 2,000 outstanding intellectuals of the 21st Century by the International Biographical Center of Cambridge(IBC), and the Man of the Year 2010 by the American Biographical Institute(ABI).

Dr. Yoo has been active in his academic research at home and abroad. In his capacity as an international member of both the American Gastroenterological Association(AGA) and the American Society Gastrointestinal Endoscopy(ASGE), he has had 25 of his papers listed in the Science Citation Index(SCI), and five in the Science Citation Index Expanded(SCIE), the professor has also written 61 domestic papers.

The attention of the world's famous biographical institutions has been drawn to the Hallym professor as he was recognized for his outstanding research on pancreatobiliary diseases such as a protein expression in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma, and endoscopic retroprade cholangio pancreatography(ERCP) and the efficacy of prophylactic medication for complications in pancreatitis.

Meanwhile, he was invited to appear on "The Marquis Who's Who in the World 2009," one of the world-renowned biographical directories.
