Professor Guk-Hee Suh, Director of the Psychiatry Department, Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital, has recently been invited to be an assistant editor of the International Psychogeriatrics(IP), one of the authentic journals in the world. He is the first Korean assistant editor appointed by the world renowned medical journal.
The International Psychogeriatrics publishes high quality original research papers in the field of psychogeriatrics. It aims to be the leading peer- reviewed journal dealing with all aspects of the mental health of the elderly throughout the world. Circulated to over 1,000 members of the International Psychogeriatric Association, it is published six times a year.
The Hallym Professor has been working for the IP since 2003 on the editorial board, and he will serve as an assistant editor for the next five years. The Korean assistant editor will be screening an average of 1,000 academic papers a year, running special features, and doing assignments on Asia.
