Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Hallym University Medical Center(HUMC) plans to open a new multi-language website http://www.hallym.or.kr in a couple of months. By providing online news and information in four foreign languages including English, Japanese, Chinese and Russian, Hallym allows more foreigner users to search for necessary information on the medical center. The English language site will be open late in October followed by the opening of the other foreign language sites in November.

The new website brings into focus Hallym's Global Network, Top Stories, Specialized Centers and Departments, and Online Appointment which would be more intuitive to navigate: The Global Network is designed to showcase Hallym's proactive and extensive international strategies to consolidate collaborative bonds with world-class medical centers, and medical institutions such as Columbia and Cornell in the U.S., Uppsala in Sweden and Oulu in Finland. At the same time, the Network will introduce visitors to Hallym's global cause for rendering services to developing countries and the poor in the alienated pockets in the world.

The upcoming opening of a new site will also update visitors on recent developments of Hallym by rolling out latest news and information on its activities and professionals. Specialized Centers and Departments will feature the institution's modern medical equipment, skills and the top-notch faculty.

In addition to offering easier access to such information, the new site will further facilitate Hallym's plan to meet the growing need of foreign customers. To actually help foreign visitors at home and abroad get adequate medical services in time, Online Appointment on the new site will function as a fast-tract to medical services Hallym is proud of.

Meanwhile, by compiling figures on HUMC, the site will help visitors take a first-hand look at the current standing of Hallym in the nation's medical circles.
