Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital

Dr. Tomohiro Kawasaki, director of the cardiovascular center at Shin-Koga Hospital in Japan, visited the department of cardiology at Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital to joint intervention and a lecture on December 3, 2008.

At the event, which was designed to promote academic exchanges between Shin-Koga and Kangnam, and enhance the clinical ability in chronic total occlusion, Dr. Kawasaki participated in an eight-hour joint intervention and gave a lecture.

Through the event, both parties shared their clinical skills, such as Japan's new cardiovascular treatment and Kangnam's use of CT for coronary arteries.
Dr. Nam-Ho Lee, chief of the department of cardiology, said, "Through such active academic exchanges, we will be able to concentrate on sharpening the competitive edge of Kangnam's cardiovascular center."
